Hi, I’m Tia — the heart behind My Boujee Little Plant Shop.
My love for plants began long before this business ever existed. As a little girl, I spent countless hours helping my mom tend to her flower beds and watering my grandmother’s beautiful houseplants. Plants were always a part of my life, but after losing my mom to cancer, they became something even more meaningful — they became healing.
In the middle of grief, I found peace in caring for plants and watching them grow. Every new leaf, every rooted cutting, and every thriving plant reminded me that beauty can still bloom after loss. What started with a single pothos quickly turned into a passion-filled collection of over 300 plants, including rare and tropical plants, and a deep love for learning everything I could about them.
After being laid off from my property management career, I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my passion into something bigger. I started small — selling mystery cuttings, corms, and starter plants — and slowly built what is now a family-run houseplant shop alongside my children.
Today, My Boujee Little Plant Shop is all about making beautiful, unique, and luxurious plants accessible without the boujee price tag. More than anything, I want this space to feel welcoming, fun, and full of planty joy for every collector — whether you’re buying your very first houseplant or adding another rare beauty to your jungle.

Every plant in our houseplant shop is carefully grown from our own cuttings and corms or thoughtfully imported from Thailand to bring you unique, beautiful, and hard-to-find tropical plants. From the moment a plant arrives or begins its journey in our care, we dedicate ourselves to helping it thrive.
